Vitamin D Intake Amount

By March 29, 2018Abby's Answers

Recently, I have read several articles about Vitamin D. I am a healthy 55-year old woman. How much Vitamin D3 should I be taking and should it be Vitamin D3? -Helena

Dear Helena,
It is a good idea to get your Vitamin D3 blood levels measured. Most of my new clients have very low D3 levels. The range from most labs is 30 to 100. I believe 60 or more is excellent. Once you know your levels, you can adjust your intake to reach your target.
